Canon Inkjet Printer Driver

This software (hereinafter called printer driver) includes a program that prints from an application or a command line on Linux onto a Canon IJ printer and a program that displays the printer and print status.

For instructions on using the printer driver, see this manual and the manual that comes with your machine.

About This Manual

This manual uses the conventions shown below:

Machine: MP140 series.

: Indicates a note.

: Indicates a reference.

Fedora 7 is used for the sample screens in this manual.

It uses the example in which "MP140" is used to register the printer to the spooler in this manual.

The descriptions in this manual assume that the CUPS spooler is being used.

Both Firefox and Konqueror are used as the browser to check whether this manual is displayed properly.

This manual is intended to be viewed on Linux.
